To provide infrastructure facilities and amenities
- To plan and implement small-scale projects such as minor roads and
Tamu sites
- To co-ordinate on electrical and water supplies projects to enable
the Electrical Department and Public Works Department to implement
them
- To upgrade the existing rural roads
- To co-ordinate with the Telecommunication Department on the
expansion of telephone lines in the rural areas
To encourage more productive and economic activities
- To provide from time to time commercial sites which are
strategically located for- small-scale entrepreneurs
- To build a progressive society which does not entirely rely on
Government's support and encourage the establishment of Projek
Ladang Berkelompok
- To co-ordinate with other Agencies in locating suitable areas for
Industrial Sites
- To control the issuance of Miscellaneous Business Licenses
To create clean environment and beautiful Kampongs
- To control the environment from being polluted by littering and
rubbish
- To initiate garbage collection and disposal services by
contracting out to private sector.
- To control of the development in the District in the capacity of
District Officer as a member of the Town and Country Planning
Authority
- To provide more recreational facilities
To achieve a greater unity of the communities
- The establishment of Mukim and Kampong Consultative Councils
- To provide a more effective communication between Government and
the people especially the welfare of the villagers
- To inculcate continuously the culture of co-operation among the
communities such as budaya muafakat and gotong royong - through the
Institutions of Penghulu and Ketua and Kampong
- To take care of the unfortunate people such as fire or natural
disasters victims, handicapped and orphans by reporting them to the
appropriate Agencies so that assistance can be rendered for the
needy families
To maintain the security and prosperity of the people
- To work closely with the Police by establishing Majlis Pengawasan
Kejiranan Kampong. The council is set up to prevent any crimes being
committed in Kampong.
